What is Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice is a way of looking at harm and crime that focuses on healing the harm to the victim, holding the offender accountable, and involving the community.  To the extent possible, those involved in and affected by the crime are the ones who should be involved in deciding the response under Restorative Justice Principles.  These principles are put into practice through a variety of practices, including Victim/Offender Dialogue, Family Group Conferencing, Community Accountability Boards, Circle Sentencing, and Victim Impact Panels.  Please click ont he following link to read mroe about Restorative Justice. click on link for further information
